Dyspepsia

Dyspepsia means indigestion, stomach pain and discomfort after eating; as a cause of death it hid some more serious stomach or bowel disease.

Dyspepsia is the medical word for indigestion: pain, heartburn, nausea and a feeling of fullness after meals.

Indigestion alone rarely kills, so dyspepsia as a cause of death may cover a more serious stomach or bowel disease that the doctor could not identify.
