Daily Ancestor is a free educational site. You may use it for personal research, teaching and society meetings, and you may link to any page.

We work hard to keep every page correct, but old records are tricky and rules differ by place and time. Always check important conclusions against the original record.

Record images belong to their sources and are used under the licence shown under each image. Our own text may be quoted with a link back to the page.

Please do not try to break the site, copy it in bulk or send automated requests.
