Riah

Riah was a nickname for Zachariah in American records of the 1700s and 1800s.

Riah is a short form of Zachariah; the Connecticut State Library's list of 18th and 19th century nicknames also gives Rias and Rye for the same name.

In a search, try both names. An index may list him only as Riah, while his baptism or marriage record gives Zachariah.
