Grazier
A grazier was a farmer who grazed cattle or sheep on pasture, raising or fattening stock rather than growing crops.
The word is chiefly British and Irish for a livestock farmer who grazes cattle or sheep on rural land, and in Australia it means the owner of a large sheep or cattle property.
American records more often use other words. The 1900 census told enumerators to return a stock herder or stock drover separately from a stock raiser, the man who owned and raised the stock, which is the nearest American match.
