Tucker

Tucker is an obsolete word for a fuller, a cloth worker who cleaned and thickened woolen cloth.

Wiktionary lists tucker in the obsolete sense of a fuller, one who fulls cloth. Fulling, also known as tucking or walking, cleansed new woolen cloth of oils and dirt and made it shrink and thicken by friction and pressure.

Most people now meet the word as a surname or in other senses: Australian slang for food, a piece of lace worn in a dress neckline, or the verb to tire someone out, as in tuckered out. In an old record, read the surrounding words to see which is meant.
