Hallowmas
Hallowmas is November 1, All Saints' Day (also All Hallows), which older records sometimes use as a date.
Hallowmas, All Hallows' Day and All Saints' Day are names for the feast on November 1 honoring all the saints. The evening before is All Hallows' Eve, the source of Halloween.
In older English and colonial records a payment or event "at Hallowmas" means about the first of November. It is not one of the English quarter days.
