piscator
Piscator is Latin for a fisherman, a man who made his living by fishing; piscatoris means of the fisherman.
Piscator means fisher or fisherman. You meet it in registers of parishes along rivers, lakes and coasts.
If several families in a parish are called piscator, the trade alone will not separate them. Use house names, wives' names and godparents as well.
