Appurtenances
Appurtenances are the rights and things that belong to a piece of land and pass with it when it is sold, such as a right of way, barns, garden or orchard.
An appurtenance is something attached to a larger property and treated as part of it. For land, that can be a physical thing such as an outbuilding, barn or orchard, or a right such as a right of way or other easement.
Deeds usually end the land description with a sweeping phrase like "together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging." It means the buyer gets everything that normally goes with the tract, even if it is not listed.
