Letty
Letty is an old nickname for Letitia, found in American records of the 1700s and 1800s.
Letty, also spelled Lettie, is a pet form of Letitia and of its older English form Lettice. Letty appears as a pet form of Letitia on the Connecticut State Library's list of 18th and 19th century nicknames.
A gravestone or a family Bible may say Letty while a will or a deed says Letitia. Search indexes under both forms so you do not miss her.
As seen in a recordTown marriage register, 1821; her baptism gives her name as Letitia
Levi Goodspeed and Letty Gotham, both of this town, married 8 Nov. 1821
