Coremaker

A coremaker made the sand cores set inside foundry molds to form the hollow parts of metal castings.

A core is a shape placed inside a mold so that the poured metal flows around it and leaves a cavity, such as the passages inside a cast engine block. Cores are made from core sand with binders such as clay or resin oil, and are usually destroyed to get them out of the finished piece.

Wiktionary files the word under engineering: a maker of the cores used to produce the hollow parts of castings.
