Son-in-law
A son-in-law is the husband of your daughter, the man who married into the family through her.
A son-in-law is the man married to your daughter. In wills and deeds a son-in-law is often named alongside his wife, or receives or signs for her share of a parent's estate.
Take care with the older in-law words: father-in-law and mother-in-law could also mean a stepparent. Check whether a son-in-law was really married to the daughter before you build the tree on it.
