Cr.
In account books Cr. means credit or creditor, the side of the account showing what was paid or is owed to a person.
Cr. is short for credit, and in older use creditor. In a ledger it marks the side of an account where payments made or value received are listed. Estate accounts often set Dr. and Cr. side by side.
In probate files, the list of creditors tells you who the dead person owed money to, which can point to a doctor, a store or relatives who lent money.
