Ga.
In a census birthplace column, Ga. is the abbreviation for Georgia.
Ga. is an older abbreviation of Georgia, used long before the two letter postal codes. Census takers were allowed to abbreviate state names in the place of birth column, so abbreviated state names are common in the birthplace column of nineteenth century census pages.
Ga. is the standard form, but Geo. was also used for the state, which can be confused with the first name George. In a birthplace column, both mean the state.
