Weaning brash
Weaning brash was an old name for severe diarrhea in a young child who had recently been weaned from breast milk.
Wiktionary defines weaning brash as an archaic medical term for a severe form of diarrhea said to affect children recently weaned, citing Webster's 1913, where brash means a rash or a sudden fit of sickness.
It belongs with the many names for deadly infant diarrhea, such as summer complaint and cholera infantum.
