Restored

Restored in church minutes means an excluded or suspended member was taken back into full fellowship after showing repentance.

Church discipline aimed to correct, not only to punish, so a repentant member could be restored to fellowship. The minutes may give only the word restored and the name.

Look back for the earlier exclusion to learn the offense and the dates. A long gap between the two can point to a period when the person lived elsewhere.
