Trinity Sunday
Trinity Sunday is the Sunday after Whitsunday (Pentecost) in the Western church, eight weeks after Easter.
Trinity Sunday honors the Holy Trinity and falls on the Sunday after Whitsunday in the Western church. Like Whitsun, it moves with Easter.
A register may date an event as so many Sundays after Trinity. To convert, find Easter for the year, add eight weeks to reach Trinity Sunday, and count forward.
