paroisse
Paroisse is French for "parish"; de cette paroisse means of this parish, and in Louisiana a paroisse can also be the civil unit like a county.
A paroisse is the church district served by one curé. Records say de cette paroisse for local people and name the paroisse of anyone from outside, which is your lead to that parish's registers.
In Louisiana the colonial church parishes became the model for local government. From 1807 the territory was divided into civil parishes, and the state still uses parishes where other states have counties, so a Louisiana record may mean either.
