Zwillinge
Zwillinge is German for "twins"; Zwilling is one twin, and a baptism entry may mark two children as Zwillinge born the same day.
Twins are usually entered one after the other in the baptism register with the same parents and date, sometimes bracketed together and marked Zwillinge. If one twin died soon after birth, look in the burial register a few days later.
In a list of children, two with the same birth date are twins even if the word is missing. Latin registers use gemelli for the same thing.
