consanguinitas
Consanguinitas is Latin for blood relationship; in church marriage records it marks a couple related by blood, such as cousins.
Consanguinitas means kinship by blood, through common ancestors. The Catholic Church treated close blood relationship as an impediment to marriage, so a marriage entry may note it, often with the degree of kinship, in phrases such as in tertio gradu consanguinitatis (in the third degree).
For a family historian this is a gift: the priest is telling you the bride and groom share ancestors, which points to where the two families meet.
