Executrix
An executrix is a woman named in a will to carry out its terms; it is the feminine form of executor, common in older records.
Executrix is the feminine form of executor, seen in historical documents. A widow named executrix of her husband's will took charge of settling his estate.
Modern law usually says executor for both sexes, but older courts kept the distinction, so the word confirms the person was a woman even when only an initial is given. Abbreviated Exrx.
