Grandnephew
A grandnephew, also called a great-nephew, is the grandson of your brother or sister: the son of your nephew or niece.
Grandnephew and great-nephew are two names for the same relative: a sibling's grandson. Some families say one, some the other, and both turn up in wills.
Do not confuse this with the older use of nephew for a grandson. A grandnephew is still on a brother's or sister's line, not yours. A will that names several grandnephews can outline a whole branch of a family.
