Great-granduncle
A great-granduncle is the brother of one of your great-grandparents: an uncle of one of your grandparents.
A great-granduncle sits one generation above a great-uncle. He was your grandparent's uncle, a brother (or brother-in-law) of one of your great-grandparents.
Because grand and great are mixed in these names, mistakes are easy. Count it out: uncle is a parent's brother, great-uncle a grandparent's brother, great-granduncle a great-grandparent's brother. His grandchildren are your parent's second cousins.
