coemeterium

Coemeterium is Latin for a cemetery or churchyard; in coemeterio means in the cemetery.

Coemeterium comes from a Greek word for a sleeping chamber. Dictionaries give cemetery, churchyard and burial ground, and Lewis and Short marks it as church Latin.

Burial entries often say in coemeterio with a place name, and the place may differ from the parish of death when a village had no burial ground of its own.
