sepultus
Sepultus is Latin for "buried" (sepulta for a woman); in a burial register the date given is the day of burial.
Sepultus (feminine sepulta) means buried and is the key word in burial registers kept in Latin. It is often shortened to sep. or sepult.
Many entries give the burial date only. The death was usually a day or two before, and some registers give both, with obiit for the death and sepultus for the burial.

Die 14 Martii sepultus est Georgius Klein, aetatis 63
