oriundus
Oriundus is Latin for born in or descended from; oriundus ex followed by a place tells you where a person came from.
Oriundus means descended from or born in. It is usually followed by ex or de and a place: oriundus ex Neudorf, a native of Neudorf. The feminine is oriunda.
This is one of the most useful words in a marriage entry, because brides and grooms from other parishes are named with their home place. That place leads you to the register where their own baptism should be.
