natus
Natus is Latin for "born" (of a male); in a register, natus est or natus followed by a date gives the day a boy was born.
Natus means born and is used for a male; the female form is nata. Catholic, Lutheran and Anglican registers kept in Latin often give both the birth and the baptism, as natus 3 and baptizatus 5, so read carefully to see which date is which.
On its own natus can also mean son in classical Latin, but in registers it is almost always the verb form, "was born."
