Quitclaim
A quitclaim deed hands over whatever interest the seller has in land, if any, without promising the title is good.
In a quitclaim the grantor gives up whatever claim they hold in a piece of land but does not warrant that the claim is valid or complete.
Families often used quitclaims to tidy up inheritances: siblings who each held a share of a parent's farm signed quitclaims to the one who kept it. A set of quitclaims from one family can list every heir and their spouse.
As seen in a recordDeed recorded in a county deed book, 1800s
