domicilium

Domicilium is Latin for a dwelling or place of residence; domicilii means of the residence.

Domicilium means a dwelling, home or abode, the source of English domicile. The BYU list of common phrases gives domicilium as residence and domicilii as of the residence.

In a register it tells you where the family lived at the time, which can differ from where they were born (oriundus).
