ejusdem
Ejusdem, also spelled eiusdem, is Latin for of the same; in a date it points back to the month or year just named.
Ejusdem is the genitive of idem, the same. The BYU list of common phrases gives idem as same and eiusdem as of the same.
In a date such as die quinta ejusdem, it means the fifth of the same month already named. With a person or place, ejusdem means of the same one, such as filius ejusdem, his son.
