juvenis

Juvenis is Latin for a young person, usually a young man; in marriage registers it often describes a groom marrying for the first time.

Juvenis (also iuvenis) means a young person, most often a young man. Classical writers used it for adults roughly between twenty and forty, not for children.

In marriage entries a groom called juvenis is usually a single man marrying for the first time, set against viduus for a widower. Do not take it as an exact age.
