renatus
Renatus means "reborn" and in church registers is another word for "baptized," the idea being rebirth through baptism.
Renatus literally means born again. Some Latin registers use it in place of baptizatus, especially in phrases like renatus ex aqua et Spiritu Sancto, reborn of water and the Holy Spirit.
Read the entry as a baptism. Renatus is also a given name, the Latin form of René, so if it stands at the start of an entry where a name would be, it may be the child's name rather than the verb.
As seen in a recordBaptism entry in a Latin register
Renatus est ex aqua et Spiritu Sancto infans Jacobus
