sepelivi

Sepelivi is Latin for I buried, written by the priest who performed the burial, as in sepelivi Annam Weber.

Sepelivi is the first person past tense of the verb to bury, so it means I buried. A priest wrote it in his own register to record a burial he performed himself, with the name of the dead person in the accusative case (often ending in -um or -am).

Do not mistake it for a name. The person buried follows the verb, and the date is often the burial date, not the death date.
