heri

Heri is Latin for yesterday; in a register entry it dates an event to the day before the entry was written.

Heri means yesterday. Wiktionary lists here as an older alternative spelling.

Baptism entries often say natus heri, born yesterday, so the birth date is the day before the baptism date. Compare pridie, which means on the day before a date named in the text, and hodie, today.
